Pressure Control IQC is an accessory compatible with both the HERU Next Generation and HERU Select series. The function requires IQC software version 1.08 or later.

For HERU Next Generation:
With Pressure Control IQC, the unit automatically compensates for the increased pressure drop across the filters during operation, thereby maintaining the preset supply and extract airflows.
The pressure control system connects directly to the unit’s control board via the supplied split cable or through an optional expansion module. The positive and negative pressure connections from the sensors are connected to pressure fittings in the supply and extract air ducts.
When Pressure Control IQC is activated, the unit regulates the airflow so that the duct pressure remains constant over time until it is time to replace the filters.
Please note that Pressure Control IQC is not designed for constant duct pressure control in ventilation systems equipped with variable dampers.

For HERU Select:
With Pressure Control IQC, the unit can operate with VAV control (Variable Air Volume). The pressure sensor is installed on either the extract or supply air side, depending on whether supply-air slave or extract-air slave control is desired.
